For the first time, the municipality of Tulum achieved the nomination of the World Travel Awards, WTA this 2023, endorsing its world tourism leadership, after being considered as the “Oscar” awards of the tourism sector.
According to the destination, on the matter, the general director of Tourism and Economy of the City Hall, Jorge Mario Molina Perez, celebrated that the ninth municipality is nominated in the “Oscars” of the Travel and Tourism Industry as “Leading Beach Destination” of the World, and no longer just Mexico and Central America where it has won on five different occasions.
He explained that this nomination puts Tulum in the eyes of the world who will be able to participate in the voting process, available at www.worldtravelawards.com until November 17th.
